Steak sandwich

 

Sandwich

200g ribeye steak
1 tomato, sliced
2 rashers bacon
1 tbsp caramelised onion (available at most supermarkets)
1-2 slices brie cheese
1 slice toasted ciabatta

Aioli

Southwest dressing
Fresh green salad and onion rings, to serve

Preheat oven to 160°C. Season both sides of the steak, and sear for 30 seconds on each side in a hot pan. Place steak in oven for 8-15 minutes, depending on preference. In another pan, fry bacon and heat caramelised onion, then place them over top of the ribeye in the oven to finish.

Assemble

Place bread on plate and top with the steak, bacon, caramelised onion, tomato and brie. Drizzle with aioli and Southwest dressing. Serve with a fresh green salad and crispy onion rings on the side.
